Despite its inexpensive construction, I find that it performs exceptionally well. I clean it every day or two in a household with six cats, and even after a few weeks of use, my litter remains remarkably clean. I use regular clumping litter with it, and as someone with a disability, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

I do wish there was a rubber seal around the removable tray to eliminate the gap where it meets the outside of the box.

The litter can get stuck at the bottom if not cleaned regularly (some recommend every 3 days). Assembly is straightforward. My friend got one as well, and I plan to get another for my second cat.
